Trailer: The Thing
Director Matthijs van Heijningen Jr’s. Yes. Jr. prequel trailer for The Thing is now out. DP Michel Abramowicz (Taken) was brought in to help set the stage of this action packed horror, while sound mixer Roderick Matte (X-Men: The Last Stand) and boom operator Steve Switzer tagged along to capture the show’s audio. I’m a big fan of Carpenter’s 1982 classic, and I’m sure like all re-boots, this flick will have its critics.
Starring Eric Christian Olsen, Joel Edgerton and the adorable Mary Elizabeth Winstead,The Thing has a release date of October 14, 2011.
